Burning Your Candle

Your new FiMi candle is no ordinary candle – it’s made using soya wax, to give it an even, extra-fragrant and eco-friendly burn. To get the most out of your candle, we suggest that you:

• Always burn your candle for long enough to let the molten layer cover the whole surface. Your candle should burn to the outside of the container, this may take up to an hour for the largest of candles, but it allows the candle to burn evenly – using all of the wax, and not leaving any holes. Soya wax has a memory too – so if you once only let it burn to a small diameter, it won’t burn fully again until its refilled.

• Always trim your wicks to 5mm before lighting, to avoid making too much smoke. You don’t want anything getting in the way of that fragrance

• Always stay safe, by making sure your candle is on a level, fire-resistant surface, and that it is not left unattended. Do not burn for more than 4 hours, and keep children and drafts away.

Happy burning!

Safety

Handling your candle needs a bit of care – you are after all dealing directly with fire. If your candle is left burning somewhere near sensitive material, there may be a risk of fire.

Do not allow candles burning in reach of children -it can lead to compromise of their health and safety. Extinguish all candles if you are going out.
